One of the most thorough psychiatric medication guides on the market. I highly recommend all mental health providers to add this excellent resource to their library of reference books. It is not huge and daunting allowing you to get in and get out when looking for medication information quickly. I would have paid much more for this book.!

As an instructor for psychiatric nurse practitioner students, I recommend this book as a good clinical resource for students to review medication indications, dosing, contraindications, common side effects, black box warnings, tapering, and use of these medications in special populations. This book contains a very easy to follow format to review different classes of medications as well as OTC, Dietary, and Herbal supplements used in psychiatry. This book also contains a section on important DSM 5 changes as well as ETC and other brain stimulation therapies which were nicely summarized. The book is lightweight and reasonably priced for the amount of information contained.!

I am using this book as a supplement for my PHMNP progam. Well written, concise, and provides all the information needed at a quick glance. I find this guide easier to use than Stahl’s Prescriber Guide. Well worth the money!

Great Resource to have! Very easy and simple to navigate! As a clinician, this book allows me easy and quick access to medication information that I would otherwise spend countless hours researching!

This is such an excellent book for Mental Health Practitioners! It is practical, user friendly and very helpful! It saves a lot of time from researching information on medications that are prescribed to clients. I wish that this book was available to use as an aide during my clinicals and studies in graduate school a couple years ago but regardless this book has been so helpful and is so worth it!

WONDERFUL AID TO HELP ALL OF YOU WHO WORK IN MENTAL HEALTH. I like the way it gives information as to why a doctor might prescribe a certain medication. I am really glad to have a aid to help me explain to our clients in between doctor visits their medications. The client tend to voice there view on medications during therapy session it is great to have the knowledge/support to deal with the questions..
